Luxury Finishes
Premium finishes are what separate event stationery from everyday print, and they all start with the right substrate. Letterpress is most striking on soft 110 lb to 220 lb cotton or double-thick duplexed sheets, where a polymer or copper plate presses ink and a deep, tactile impression into the surface. Foil stamping uses a heated die to bond metallic or pigment foil to the stock, giving gold, silver, rose gold, and matte tones a reflective edge that ink alone cannot reach. Blind embossing raises a monogram or crest with no ink at all, and edge painting seals the perimeter of a thick card in color for a clean band when the suite is held.
Each finish runs as its own pass on press, so the sequence and registration matter. We proof letterpress depth and foil placement before committing the full run, and we keep the dies on file so a later order of menus or thank-you cards matches the original invitation exactly. For invitation suites we work in cotton and tree-free papers in the 110 lb to 220 lb weight range, often duplexed to a luxurious 600 gsm double-thick card for letterpress and edge painting. Linen and felt finishes add subtle texture, vellum overlays soften a layered suite, and uncoated text weights keep programs and menus easy to read without glare.
Letterpress & Engraving
Best for invitations and monograms where you want a deep, tactile impression. Each ink color is a separate plate and pass, so two-color letterpress is registered by hand on our presses. Soft cotton holds the bite of the plate beautifully.
Digital & Offset
Digital handles short runs, photo-heavy programs, and variable-data place cards economically. Offset takes over on larger runs and across long sheets where consistent solids and tight color matching matter. Both run CMYK with spot-color options.
Large Format
Welcome signs, seating charts, and backdrops print on foam board, Gatorboard, acrylic, canvas, and self-adhesive vinyl, then mount with easel backs or standoffs. Matte and satin laminates reduce reflection under event lighting.

For the cleanest result, send press-ready PDFs built at 300 DPI in CMYK with all fonts outlined or embedded, a quarter-inch of bleed on trimmed pieces, and any foil, letterpress, or emboss areas supplied as separate spot-color layers so we can cut dies from them.
