Retail Display Installation NYC
Where shoppers decide.
POP displays, floor graphics, endcap displays, window installations, and custom retail environments — designed, produced, and installed across New York City.

Retail Display Solutions
From checkout counter displays to full window installations — retail graphics that drive sales.

POP Displays
Point-of-purchase displays that drive impulse buys and highlight promotions at the moment of decision. Counter displays, floor standing units, pallet wraps, shelf wobblers, and hanging signs — printed and die-cut to your exact specs with vibrant, retail-grade graphics.

Floor Graphics
Transform any floor surface into a branded experience. Adhesive vinyl floor graphics with anti-slip laminate for retail aisles, directional wayfinding, promotional graphics, and brand activations. UL-certified slip-resistant materials that meet OSHA and ADA standards.

Endcap Displays
High-visibility end-of-aisle displays that capture shopper attention and increase product sell-through by up to 30%. Custom-printed endcap headers, side panels, shelf strips, and integrated signage systems designed for standard gondola shelving.

Window Displays
Seasonal window displays, product showcases, and promotional installations for street-facing retail. We design and install window graphics, dimensional elements, fabric backdrops, and integrated lighting that stop foot traffic on NYC streets.
From Concept to Retail Floor
Our process ensures displays arrive on time, on spec, and ready for shoppers.
Retail Strategy & Design
We start with your retail goals — product launch, seasonal promotion, or permanent brand presence. Our team designs display solutions that fit your store layout, planogram, and brand guidelines while maximizing shopper engagement.
Prototyping & Approval
For custom displays, we produce a physical prototype for testing and approval. You see the actual materials, print quality, and structural integrity before we go to production. Modifications are made at this stage, not on the retail floor.
Production & Quality Control
Graphics are printed, die-cut, and assembled in-house. Every display is inspected against your approved proof for color accuracy, structural integrity, and finish quality. Displays are packed flat or pre-assembled based on your installation needs.
Delivery & Installation
We deliver directly to individual stores or distribution centers. For NYC retail locations, our installation team handles setup, placement, and cleanup. For multi-location rollouts, we provide detailed assembly instructions and installation kits.
Why Retailers Choose VSL Print
Retail moves fast. Deadlines are tight, planograms are specific, and every display has to be perfect on day one. A family-owned NYC printer since 2009, we produce retail graphics for national brands and neighborhood boutiques alike — all under one roof. Storefront rollouts often bundle displays with the custom business signs we print for the same locations.

Substrates, Specs & Finishing
The right retail display is an engineering decision as much as a graphic one. Material weight, print method, and finish determine whether a unit survives a 12-week promotion, holds product on a pallet, or reads cleanly from across the aisle. Here's how we spec each build.
Corrugated & Board Substrates
Temporary and promotional displays are built on corrugated board selected by flute: E-flute (~1/16") for a smooth counter-display surface, B-flute (~1/8") for everyday floor units, and double-wall stock for floor standing displays and pallet bins that carry real product weight. Litho-laminated graphics — offset-printed on a coated sheet, then mounted to corrugate — deliver the sharpest detail for cosmetics and electronics, while direct digital and flexo printing keep high-volume promotional runs efficient.
Rigid & Semi-Permanent Materials
For displays that need to last months or years, we print on PVC/Sintra, foam board, and acrylic, and fabricate wood and metal structures for permanent fixtures. These units are engineered with interchangeable graphic panels so the structure stays put between promotions and only the printed header or panel changes — lowering cost across a multi-season program.
Floor Graphics & Adhesive Media
Floor graphics are printed on textured 3M and Avery Dennison pedestrian-rated media and overlaminated with UL-certified anti-slip film that meets OSHA and ADA slip-resistance standards. We match adhesive to surface — sealed concrete, polished tile, short-pile carpet, or terrazzo — so graphics stay down through high traffic and lift cleanly at the end of the promotion without residue.
Finishing & Color Control
In-house finishing includes die-cutting, scoring, gluing, laminating (gloss, matte, and anti-scuff), mounting, and kit-packing. As a G7-calibrated shop, we print to a calibrated gray balance and match supplied Pantone references, so a brand color holds consistent across offset, digital, and large-format output — and across reprints months apart.
File Prep & Turnaround
Send print-ready PDFs at full size with bleed — roughly 0.125" for litho-laminated corrugated and 0.25"–0.5" for large-format substrates — and keep critical text and logos inside a safe margin away from fold and die-cut lines. Build artwork in CMYK, embed or outline fonts, and place large-format images at 100–150 DPI at final size. For custom structures we provide a keyline dieline to design around so graphics, scores, and cuts register correctly. Approved reprints move through production quickly; custom structural builds that need a prototype, die-cutting, and assembly take longer after art approval. Because offset, digital, large-format, finishing, and bindery all run under one roof, we control the full schedule and offer rush production to hit reset dates and launch windows.
Related Installation Services
Complete installation services beyond retail displays.
Yes. Our installation team handles in-store setup for retail locations across NYC, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. We work overnight or during off-hours to avoid disrupting store operations. For multi-location rollouts, we coordinate phased installations across stores.
POP displays are typically printed on corrugated cardboard (for temporary/promotional displays), foam board, PVC/Sintra, acrylic, or custom wood and metal structures for permanent installations. Material choice depends on display lifespan, weight requirements, and budget. We recommend the right material for your application.
Yes. All floor graphics are overlaminated with UL-certified anti-slip film that meets OSHA and ADA slip-resistance standards. Our floor graphics are safe for high-traffic retail environments, grocery stores, and public spaces. We use 3M and Avery Dennison floor graphic media specifically engineered for pedestrian surfaces.
Yes. We regularly produce and ship displays for multi-store rollouts, from a handful of flagship locations to chain-wide programs covering hundreds of stores. We handle production scaling, quality control across large runs, store-specific customization, kit packing, and shipping logistics. Displays arrive store-ready with assembly instructions.
Corrugated POP displays are designed for promotional periods of 2-12 weeks depending on the material weight and store conditions. Semi-permanent displays using PVC, acrylic, or metal structures last 6 months to several years. We match the material to your intended display lifespan and budget.
We do both. Our design team creates retail displays from concept, including structural engineering, graphic design, and dieline creation. If you have existing designs, we produce from your files. We also offer retail display consulting to help you choose the right format for your product and store environment.
An endcap display is a merchandising unit placed at the end of a store aisle (the "endcap"), which is prime retail real estate. Endcap displays include header signage, side panels, shelf strips, and sometimes integrated product shelving. They're one of the most effective ways to increase product visibility and drive impulse purchases.
Yes. Many of our retail clients operate on seasonal display calendars — spring, summer, back-to-school, holiday. We manage the entire cycle: design, production, delivery, installation, removal of previous displays, and storage of reusable components. It's a turnkey seasonal program.
Supply print-ready PDFs built at full size with bleed (typically 0.125" for litho-laminated corrugated and 0.25"–0.5" for large-format substrates), and keep critical text and logos inside a safe margin away from fold and die-cut lines. Build artwork in CMYK, embed or outline fonts, and place images at 100–150 DPI at final size for large-format work. If your display has a custom structure, we provide a keyline dieline to design around so graphics, scores, and cut lines register correctly. Send Pantone references for any brand colors — as a G7-calibrated shop, we match to a calibrated gray balance so color stays consistent across reprints and across offset, digital, and large-format output.
Litho-lamination prints your graphics offset on a coated litho sheet, which is then mounted to corrugated board — this gives the sharpest detail, smoothest gradients, and richest color, ideal for cosmetics, electronics, and premium brand displays. Direct printing applies ink straight to the corrugate (digitally or via flexo) and is faster and more cost-effective for high-volume promotional units where photographic detail is less critical. We help you weigh print quality, run length, structural strength, and budget to choose the right method.
Common flutes for retail displays are E-flute (about 1/16" — fine, smooth surface for counter and small floor units), B-flute (about 1/8" — a balance of print surface and strength), and heavier double-wall combinations for floor standing displays and pallet bins that must hold significant product weight. Flute selection drives both crush resistance and how cleanly fine graphics reproduce, so we spec the board to your product weight, shipping method, and intended display life.
Timelines depend on complexity and structure. Straightforward reprints of an approved design move through production quickly, while custom structural displays that need a prototype, die-cutting, and assembly take longer once art is approved. Because offset, digital, large-format, finishing, and bindery all happen in-house, we control the full schedule and offer rush production to hit retail reset dates and promotional launch windows.
Yes. We engineer many displays to ship and store flat, then assemble at the store with tool-free locking tabs, slots, or simple hardware. Semi-permanent units in PVC, acrylic, or metal can be designed with interchangeable graphic panels, so the structure stays in place between promotions and only the printed header or panel is swapped. This lowers cost over a multi-season program and reduces freight and storage footprint.
